The PAP has always kept its word and nobody can object to it - Gagik Tsarukyan`s statement on the start of the campaign (Video).

Most of the political parties running for election on May 6 have begun their televised campaign with Easter greetings.

Several parties had earlier announced they would postpone their election race until May 9, after the Resurrection Day.

The coalition Prosperous Armenia party (PAP) introduces the basic clauses of its pre-election platform, focusing on PAP leader Gagik Tsraukyan’s recent speech, particularly the episodes where he addresses the problem of emigration, and education.

"Only worthies will work for people, the ones working bad will cede their places to others", mentioned PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan. 

Gagik Tsarukyan stated that his and the PAP supporters` aim is to assist the youth, those who wish to leave the country, "I wish that the man can keep his family, smile will not disappear from his wife`s face, the pensioner will live his remaining life worthy and the young man will receive a good education and won`t think of leaving the country".

PAP leader assured that the party`s pre-election program has proposed solutions to all the important issues and they will be consistent with the resolution of these issues. According to his words, the party has always kept its word and nobody can object to it, and this will also continue in future.

To note, according to the Central Election Commission’s rule of procedures, the nine political forces bidding for parliament will have two minutes for free and up to four minutes for paid airtime every day between April 8 and 22.
