PACE delegates to arrive in Armenia to assess the election process.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will send a three-member delegation to Armenia on April 11-12 to assess election campaign and pre-election moods ahead of the May 6 parliamentary elections. The PACE delegation will be led by Baroness Nicholson.
The delegation is scheduled to meet with Serzh Sargsyan, Speaker of the National Assembly Samvel Nikoyan, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, as well as leaders of political parties running at next month's parliamentary vote. The group will also hold discussions with President of the Central Election Commission Tigran Mukuchyan, members of the Armenian delegation to PACE and representatives of civil society and media.
A team of 28 PACE delegates will be deployed in Armenia to observe the parliamentary elections, PACE Press Service reports.
