Man sentenced for long-term imprisonment for fraud in Armenia.

A court sentenced S. Grigoryan for 7 years of imprisonment for fraud, Armenian Attorney General’s Office informed.

Grigoryan was accused in particular of cheating citizens of Armenia having introduced himself as an employee for various charitable organizations, as well as Shant TV and H2 TV channels. Abusing the citizens’ trust, he stole huge amounts of money. Grigoryan has confessed his guilt and asked for a quick trial.
