On April 14, the staff at the RA Ministry of Diaspora led by RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, the working group preparing for the "My Armenia" Pan-Armenian Festival, the employees of the ministry's "Hayern Aysor" online newspaper and the "Homeland-Diaspora Center" SNCO, as well as members of the Diaspora Armenian Students' Council participated in a city-wide Saturday cleaning day.
With the slogans "Let's Keep Our City Clean" and "Let's Clean and Replenish the Diaspora Garden", the participants of the event first visited the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide memorial complex where they paid a tribute to the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.
The participants of the event planted new trees in the "Diaspora Garden" established at the peak of Tsitsernakaberd in 2009, cleaned the area near the garden, removed the dry branches and watered the trees that had been planted earlier, reports the Ministry of Diaspora.
