The elections have become "Miss and Mister Armenia contest" - Aram Gyurjyan.

Armenia's Democratic Party is expecting to receive 10% of votes at the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia, party's member Aram Gyurjyan told the reporters on Saturday.

According to him, the 30% of the population makes its decision on its own and is not taking bribes.

"Our society is not fully ready to elections. During the campaign the personal PR of individuals is done more than of the programs. The impression is that it is a 'Miss and Mister Armenia contest'," he said.

According to Gyurjyan, the direct dialogue with the compatriots is important for them. "Our party is not making empty statements. In case of victory we will apply the Armenian model of democratic socialism," he said.

In his words Armenia must be a bearer of social responsibility. It is necessary to restore the role guiding the state.
