Armenian capital Yerevan’s Constituency No. 2 Election Commission on Tuesday will hear the complaint, submitted by the authorized representative of the Constituency’s MP candidate Vladimir Karapetyan, against the election campaign violations committed by Karapetyan’s challenger from the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).
Vladimir Karapetyan’s parliamentary election headquarters inform that his authorized representative applied to Constituency No. 2 Election Commission on April 14 and noted as follows:
“Samvel Farmanyan, the MP candidate nominated by the RPA at Constituency No. 2, has violated the requirements of Armenia’s Election Code. Farmanyan’s campaign posters are posted on the apartment buildings.
Pursuant to the Law, the decisions concerning shared management of common property are adopted by at least two-thirds of the votes of the building’s proprietors, which is absent.
I [hereby] ask that measures be taken, pursuant to Armenia’s Election Code, to eliminate the law violation.”
