On April 15, Gayane Arustamyan, a candidate running in the May 6 parliamentary elections on the proportional ticket of the Armenian National Congress (HAK), reported the HAK campaign headquarters at 27/7 Raffi street about an incident that took place earlier the same day.

According to the report, a group of people attacked and injured HAK candidates Gayane Arustamyan and Babken Garoyan near one of the buildings in Yerevan's Svachyan street at 6:40 p.m. April 15.

On the same day, the Malatia division of the Armenian Police received a report that Babken Garoyan had been taken to hospital with a nose injury.

Gayane Arustamyan and Babken Garoyan were given medical referrals.

An investigation is underway.
