Armed Forces of Armenia control situation on Armenian­-Azerbaijani border

The situation on the Armenian­-Azerbaijani border is relatively calm. And the tension does not reach the level, which is on the
Karabakh-­Azerbaijani border. The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan told
Armenpress that there are shots, though the situation cannot be called tensed.

“The situation on the Armenian-­Azerbaijani border is calm. The Armenian Armed Forces control the situation and do not allow the rival to make provocations”, ­-said Hovhannisyan.

After the European Games in Baku, severe tension on the Karabakh­Azerbaijani border is observed by the initiative of Azerbaijan. In this part the rival regularly violates the ceasefire regime.
