Tigran Mukuchyan received head of the headquarters of CIS Observation Mission and his deputy.

On 16 April Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Armenia Tigran Mukuchyan received Yevgeny Sloboda, head of the headquarters of CIS Observation Mission, and his deputy Oleg Kuleba, press service of the Central Election Commission of Armenia informs.

Expressing gratitude for the meeting, Yevgeny Sloboda presented the personnel of the CIS Observation Mission and the principles of organization of the work. He said the goal of the mission is to assess the processes of organization and conduction of the elections, the electoral atmosphere, as well as to come up with relevant proposals after the elections.

Tigran Mukuchyan, highly assessing the role of international election missions in election processes, stressed the importance of the reports on elections published by the latter.

With the request of the head of CIS Observation Mission, Tigran Mukuchyan presented the new rules of procedure of the electoral code, the process of the election campaign and the preliminary works implemented by the election commission for the upcoming elections.

Wrapping up the meeting, Yevgeny Sloboda wished to Central Election Commission of Armenia success in preparation of the upcoming parliamentary elections and in their conduction in compliance with democratic standards.
