There is no agreement on cooperation with off-parliament opposition Armenia’s National Congress (ANC), ruling coalition member Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) head Gagik Tsarukyan said during the meeting in Dilijan on Tuesday.
“The only cooperation with the ANC is holding fair and free elections, for which we have signed a proper document. There are no other issues of cooperation,” Tsarukyan said adding the PAP is ready to cooperate with any party standing for fair and free elections.
Commenting on ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s calls to quit coalition, PAP head said that Ter-Petrosyan had not said such thing. As for the Heritage party position on establishing joint headquarters, Tsarukyan said that “Heritage would better blame itself.”
Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) is a political power included in the ruling coalition.
Founded by Armenian biggest businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, the party debuted in 2007 Armenian parliamentary elections, winning 29 seats in 131-seat Armenia’s National Assembly.
The proportional list of the party includes 165 names. PAP has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system. Prosperous Armenia Party’s election campaign slogan is: “Believe, trust, demand!”
