During its special session today, the RA Central Electoral Commission repealed the registration of deputy candidate Benik Hambardzumyan, who was registered in the proportional list of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D). The Commission took as a basis his appeal for withdrawal ratified by a notary.
According to the CEC press release, during the special session the RA Central Electoral Commission discussed and denied deputy candidate Hakob Hakobyan's appeal, as well as the proceedings based on appeals and complaints from Ruben Torosyan.
During the session, Head of the RA Central Electoral Commission Tigran Mukuchyan mentioned that according to the schedule of the main events for preparing and holding the elections confirmed by the CEC, April 17, which is the 10th day after the launch of the election campaign, marks the last day for political parties and alliances to submit the declarations regarding the payments that they have made to foundations and how they have used those funds to the control service of the CEC, as well as the last day to release the results of the observations of how the order for the election campaign on television and radio has been maintained and the conclusion of the National Commission on Television and Radio.
