Eduard Ghazaryan, the founder of micro architecture and a musician, died at the age of 89. Ghazaryan's micro architecture works have amazed everybody for years stirring people's imagination with their small sizes.
Throughout his long creative life Eduard Ghazaryan has created approximately 1000 original works of micro architecture. His greatest achievement was the establishment of a new direction in micro architecture: mobile micro architecture. Micro organisms, unseen by the naked eye, move in his works asynchronously in a way that no movement pattern is repeated.
Ghazaryan was honored with numerous awards through his life. In 2002 the Academy of Arts in London recognized him as the Man of the Year. In 2006 the International Biographical Centre of Cambridge named him among the world's most brilliant people and awarded Ghazaryan with Living Legend award. Ghazaryan was also awarded with the golden medal of Ministry of Culture of Armenia.
The world-renowned artist, in spite of all his achievements, was a very modest person.
''When exploring the world of micro organisms I feel հօw insignificant my works are in comparison with what God has created: the microbes, the universe. However, there is something in me that helps me to do miracles'', Ghazaryan always said.
Eduard Ghazaryan was also a talented musician and a violin player.
A special funeral committee headed by RA Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan has been created on the occasion of Ghazaryan's death, Armenian Culture Ministry informed.
