Opposition joint headquarters to respond the violations of the electoral process in No.7 precinct.

The Heritage party has not so far sent its representative to the joint campaign headquarters to take part in regular discussions.

The party formally remains a joint campaign headquarters member. Heritage party Vice-Chairman had put his signature to the relevant agreement.

Each of the signatory parties has introduced its representative to the joint campaign headquarters: Stepan Minasyan (opposition bloc Armenian National Congress – ANC); Vahe Enfiyajyan (Prosperous Armenia Party); Hamlet Abrahamyan and Spartak Seyranyan (Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun – ARFD).

ANC Coordinator Levon Zurabyan noted that the political forces in question consider the Heritage party a full member of the joint campaign headquarters. The party has not withdrawn its signature, he said. So a Heritage party representative can any moment join the joint headquarters’ activities.

He also added that it is already time for the joint headquarters to operate and drew everybody`s attention to the alleged violations in No.7 electoral precinct proposing to issue a statement on behalf of the headquarters and present appropriate demands.

In this context, Armen Rustamyan of the ARF-D said that the Heritage party’s requirement has been met. “I consider the issue settled. Two parties’ leaders clearly stated they did not see any reasons for not being represented,” he said.

The PAP member Vartan Oskanian said that the joint headquarters is ready for work is welcomes not only the Heritage party, but also other political forces. The headquarters will hold weekly meetings.
