RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan receives Alexander Mantashev and Mikayel Mantashev.

On April 18, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received Alexander Mantashev, who is the grandson of Armenian benefactor Alexander Mantashyants, as well as Alexander Mantashev’s son, Mikayel Mantashev.

Greeting the guests, Minister Hranush Hakobyan touched upon the pro-Armenian activities of Armenian benefactor Alxander Mantashyants and underlined his patriotic acts in education, culture and other spheres.

Mantashev has lived in Moscow for many years and has been a trade representative of the French Embassy in Russia. He currently lives in France and actively participates in activities aimed at preserving the Armenian identity.

Alexander Mantashev was awarded the “Boghos Nubar” Medal of the RA Ministry of Diaspora for carrying out benevolent acts in Armenia and the Diaspora, providing special services for the preservation of the Armenian identity and strengthening the relations between Armenia and the Diaspora.
