President Serzh Sargsyan receives Yukiya Amano.

Serzh Sargsyan today received General Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano.

Greeting the guest, the President stressed that atomic energy was of vital significance for Armenia and that the country attached great importance to the cooperation with the IAEA, considering it an important component of Armenia's energetic and nuclear security.

The IAEA General Director mentioned that the IAEA and Armenia share a common goal, and that is the ongoing reinforcement of security of the station and close collaboration in the construction of the new station.
