President Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday participated in the annual general meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (NAS RA).

During the event, the results of the Academy’s 2011 scholarly activities were summed up, and the existing challenges and the priorities for enhancing science were presented.

Afterward, the discussants examined the results of the NAS RA’s activities conducted during the reporting time period, the President’s Press Office informed.
