Armenia’s Heritage Party came up with a statement in which it explains the issue of not joining the joint electoral headquarters.
“Heritage Party again confirms the disposition of its statement made on April 12 where it stated the conditions under which Heritage would join the joint electoral headquarters. We also reconfirm our readiness to share information about election violations not only with the law enforcement forces but also with any structure in any given format and it does not matter whether we have officially joined that structure or not,” the statement reads.
Opposition Heritage Party is a liberal party founded in 2002. The leader is the first Armenian Foreign Minister Raffi Hovannisian.
Heritage and Free Democrats Party are running for the parliament with joint proportional list.
The proportional list of the party includes members of extra-parliamentary opposition Free Democrats Party and civil society representatives.
Heritage has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.
