It is not yet clarified whether the "Mehrabner" incident was the result of hostile fire or not.

There is still no information concerning the tragic incident in Armenia`s "Mehrabner" military unit`s "Khuban" base. Public Relations responsible of RA MOD Investigative Service Meri Sargsyan informed about this during the talk with LURER.com correspondent. The injured soldier`s life is no longer in danger, while whether the dead one was transferred to home, Meri Sargsyan had no exact information. "I think the soldier`s body should have already been transferred to home," she mentioned.

The investigative service also has no information about the shoots, whether they were received from the rival or were cause of incident at the base. "If the shoots were from the rival side, we would mention about it in our report, even due to preliminary information, but still there is no such thing," clarified Sargsyan, adding that the case is still in stage of preliminary investigation, and it is impossible to reveal it within two days. 

To note, one Armenian soldier was killed and another was injured in ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani side along the line of contact between Azerbaijani and Karbakh armed forces.

The accident took place earlier on Wednesday near the border region of Berd in Tavush marz.
