Printed press refers mostly to the RPA, PAP and ANC - monitoring.

According to the results of the monitoring conducted by the Armenian PR Association and OSCE Yerevan Office 8 913 articles were published in 16 Armenian newspapers from the period of March 12-April 14.
The majority of the publications related to the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), followed by Prosperous Armenia party (PAP) and Armenian National Congress (ANC). Presenting the results of the monitoring, expert of the association Armen Minasyan said the press has mostly related to the RPA dedicating about 1492 articles to it. The 42.1% of the articles were negative, 9.5% positive. In 48.4% neutral attitude was displayed.
‘The majority of the political materials of the press are negative. The studies of the publications of the past week of the election campaign showed that the negative phenomena noticed in press tend to deepen,’ he said, adding that the 16 newspapers were chosen taking into consideration their circulation, rating.
Armen Minasyan also stressed that 780 articles were published about the PAP. The reference was particularly negative.
‘The third was the ANC with 735 articles, followed by Heritage. The fifth is the Rule of Law, followed by the ARF,’ he said adding that the ANC and the ARF had the most positive publications.
Tatevik Pirumyan, executive director of the Armenian PR Association, said 2580 articles were published about elections. During the first week of the campaign (April 8-15), the press published 2222 materials, 860 of which were about elections.
