The opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC) has started its rally in Yerevan’s Freedom Square.
The rally is part of the ANC’s election campaign.
The speakers cried out “No fascism”, “Struggle to the end”, “Not a single vote for criminal regime”, “It is not love, but hate.”
The rally began half an hour later because of a power cut. Interestingly, the opposition leaders have occupied the platform installed for a concert the world-famous singer Andrea Bocelli is to give in Yerevan on April 22.
