Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian today dismissed allegations that he had met with Serzh Sargsyan.
Mr Hovannisian today accounted for his party's withdrawal from the inter-party electoral headquarters to supervise elections.
"The party presented its stance and proposals from the very beginning. We are not posing any preconditions or ultimatums. We simply say that if we want to go forward, the Heritage party, as a political force honoring the constitutional requirements, is ready to take the path," he said.
On April 4, at the central office of the Political Scientists Union, four political forces - the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Armenian Revolutionary Federation- Dashnaktsutyun, Armenian National Congress (HAK) and Heritage Party signed a declaration on forming inter-party electoral headquarters to fight against electoral fraud. However, Heritage later demanded that the top leaders of the four political forces also sign the statement and explicitly renounce vote buying.
