OSCE Secretary General expresses hopes over meeting between Armenia and Azerbaijan presidents

The OSCE Minsk Group on resolving the Nagorno-­Karabakh conflict may hold talks this autumn. “Armenpress” reports referring to RIA Novosti that OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier said the aforementioned.

He informed that he had discussed the Nagorno Karabakh conflict with the SecretaryGeneral of the Collective Security Treaty
Organization (CSTO), Nikolay Bordyuzha.

Zannier informed that they were concerned with the increasing violence in the region and Armenia ­Azerbaijan border and that it was necessary to conduct activities with the political authorities. They had meetings on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly with Foreign Ministers, Minsk Group Co­chairs. Another meeting is expected in autumn. Zannier expressed his hopes concerning the possibility of a meeting between presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
