Heritage party reps visit Tsitsernakaberd memorial.

Members of the opposition Heritage party headed by the leader Raffi Hovhannissyan visited today Tsitsernakaberd memorial and put flowers at the memory to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Hovhannissyan said in 1915 Armenians lost an entire homeland. ‘I remember my grandfathers and grandmothers who lost their native Kharberd, Karin. But today we are looking forward, and we know that there are countries which have testified and proved that the Armenian Genocide was committed,’ Raffi Hovhannissyan said.

The leader of the party stressed that the steps his party is undertaking over the Armenian Genocide recognition is the issue of dignity for the party members.

Member of the party Armen Martirosyan said withdrawal of Armenian-Turkish protocols from the National Assembly is an important issue today. He also stressed the necessity of consistent steps for international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
