President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute on Tuesday and got familiarized with the “Book as a Witness of the Genocide” exhibition, presidential press service informed.

The exhibition was organized on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Armenian typography and the proclamation of Yerevan as 2012 World Book Capital City by UNESCO.

The world commemorates on April 24 the 97th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the first genocide of the 20th century.
