Armenian Rule of Law party welcomes the Civilized Election Competition Rules - statement.

The Political Council of the Rule of Party issued a statement approving of the Civilized Election Competition Rules proposed by the Ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

“On the basis of the discussions of the draft document Civilized Election Competition Rules, held on April 17, 18, 19, 23 and 25, 2012, by the leaders of the Republican Party of Armenia, Prosperous Armenia Party, Rule of Law Party, Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun and Communist Party of Armenia, the Political Council is expressing its approval, stating its intention to follow the principles incorporated in it.”

A couple of days ago, the RPA Executive Body addressed a message calling on all the RPA members to follow the “rules” both before and during the parliamentary elections. The “rules” are supposed to facilitate “good elections.”
