Robert Kocharyan was first to open fire at own people - Levon Ter-Petrosyan.

"I'm very sorry for not bringing jam and a 5,000 dram electoral bribe to this rally," said leader of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) Levon Ter-Petrosyan in the beginning of his speech at the rally in Yeghegnadzor today and informed the citizens of Yeghegnadzor that there would be many people bringing that.

One of the citizens asked where the jam and bribes would come from, to which Levon Ter-Petrosyan replied that it would be coming from the citizens' pockets.

"It is the money that state officials take from you and put in their pockets. Armenia has a 2.5 billion dollar budget. They steal 5 billion every year, but if they didn't we would have had a 7.5 billion dollar budget now."

The First President called on the citizens not to vote for the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) because things would get worse.

"There has not been any Armenian leader that has opened fire at the people since 1921. The first one to do that was Robert Kocharyan. What will be the government's argument when it tells the people to believe that things will get better? The only thing that is going to change is that they will steal more from you. In the past 14 years, Armenia's population has decreased by a million. If you vote for the Republican Party of Armenia and Serzh Sargsyan, you will see the decline of Armenia's population by another million in the next ten to fourteen years."

At the end of his speech, Ter-Petrosyan called on the citizens of Yeghegnadzor to cast their votes for the HAK.
