Armenia’s Hovhannes Davtyan lost to Russian Beslan Mudranov at the 2012 the European Judo Continental Championships in Russia’s Chelyabinsk in the category 60 kg and won a silver medal.

Armen Nazaryan (66 kg) lost to Georgian Lasha Shavdashutshvili and women judoists Gayane Harutyunyan (48 kg) and Zhanna Stankevich (57 kg) lost their first fights.

Armen Baghdasaryan (81 kg) and Hakob Arakelyan (100 kg) will start fighting on Friday and Saturday respectively.
