The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenian is announcing an open contest for the vacant position of rector of the "Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Brusov" State Non-Commercial Organization.

As stated in the ministry's announcement, the contest is open to citizens of the Republic of Armenia who have

a. Work experience in science and education
b. A scientific ranking of doctor of sciences and a ranking of professor
c. At least three years of experience in enterprise or management or at least five years of professional work experience
d. Knowledge of the legal acts necessary for fulfilling the duties of a rector (including the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the legislation of the Republic of Armenia on education and science and other legal acts),

The contender must submit a conception for the university's reforms and development (main provisions).

The contest will be held on June 12 at 13:30 at Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Brusov.

We remind that the position has remained vacant since RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan dismissed former rector Suren Zolyan.
