The deadline for withdrawal: Nine candidates withdraw from election campaign in Armenia.

On April 26 is the deadline for withdrawal of candidacies for the political parties running for parliament and the parliamentary candidates in 41 single-member constituencies.

At its special meeting on Thursday, Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission discussed the list of candidates that submitted statement on withdrawal from the election campaign.

The candidates that stated their withdrawal are on the Rule of Law list.

Other candidates were running for parliament in single-member constituencies. Two of them are members of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA). Two other candidates are unaffiliated ones. Totally 9 candidates withdrew from the election race.
