"I have not struggled for the Armenian National Congress or Stepan Demirchyan and I am not going to struggle for political forces. I did it for myself and my Armenia," MP candidate and reporter Gohar Veziryan, running at No.12 constituency, stated during April 26 meeting with reporters.
"I had political activeness, courage, and it happened so that at that period the ANC was at the center, who struggled for democracy establishment in Armenia, for human rights, and me, within the frames of the ANC, struggled for having better Armenia. I did my best for having better Armenia and will continue to act like this no matter the political opposition is the ANC or not," she mentioned.
And in response to the question why the MP candidate did not struggle with the Heritage party, the latter mentioned that the Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisyan only declared a hunger strike and Veziryan did not have good health to strike with Hovannisyan.
"Other civic expression I did not see in order to go and join him," Gohar Veziryan stated.
Regardless May 6 parliamentary election results in Armenia, the reporter will continue to remain non-partisan, as she does not see any political party within the frames of which she will be able to implement those principles and programs that she carries.
