"I can not say anything for the current moment," Armenia`s Heritage party representative Armen Martirosyan said during the talk with LURER.com referring to ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan`s statement that the joint headquarters, aiming to control the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia, also represented their decision of applying to the Constitutional Court to Heritage party MPs and it depended on them whether they would join the decision or not.
"The Heritage party will discuss the issue and after then will respond to it," Armen Martirosyan mentioned.
To remind, during today`s regular sitting of the joint headquarters set to monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia, the initiator of the headquarters, chairman of the Union of Political Scientists of Armenia Hmayak Hovhannissyan said the most important issue is connected with the voters’ lists, which are ‘obviously exaggerated’. ‘The list includes 400 000 not existing voters,' he stressed.
For this reason, the inter-party electoral headquarters, which aims to secure public control during the upcoming May 6 Parliamentary elections, is going to request the Constitutional Court to allow publishing the lists of people participating in the upcoming parliamentary vote. The headquarters need at least 27 signatures to apply to the CC.
