The main goal of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc is to deprive the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) of monopoly, leader of the Social-Democratic Hnchakyan Party (SDHP) Lyudmila Sargsyan, running for parliament with the ANC, told a news conference today.
‘If we deprive them of monopoly, only their voice for solution of their own issues will not be enough. If the elections are not falsified, we will have a big opportunity to make a majority in the parliament. In reality the RPA does not have even 3%,’ Lyudmila Sargsyan said.
Referring to the election bribes issue, the SDHP leader urged the citizens not to sell the 5 years of their lives for 5 000 drams. ‘Because of the distributed election bribes, prices for bread, other products will go up after the elections,’ Lyudmila Sargsyan said.
Asked with which force the ANC will form a coalition in case of entering the parliament, she said, ‘With the force that will enjoy our trust and with which our views will coincide.’
Lyudmila Sargsyan does not believe in the public opinion polls conducted in Armenia by international organizations, describing them polls ordered by the authorities.
