RA Parliament session postponed due to lack of quorum.

Armenian National Assembly’s (NA) regular session on Wednesday was not held, since quorum was not obtained at the parliament.

The necessary number of MPs for a quorum was not registered at noon, NA Press Service informed.
Pursuant to the NA Rules of Procedure, the deputies’ registration continued for three hours, during which quorum was not obtained once again.

And therefore NA Speaker Samvel Nikoyan formally announced that the session was not convened.

This occurred during several other recent NA sessions, because most MPs are currently involved in the campaigning for Sunday’s parliamentary elections.
