Heritage party did not join the decision of joint headquarters to apply to the Constitutional Court, as 2 years long ARF and Heritage have already made statements proposing to provide the election lists, Heritage party deputy chairman Ruben Hakobyan stated about this during today's meeting with reporters.
"The PAP then voted against this proposal and it was rejected. In case of 27 signatures the case can be applied to the Constitutional Court. The PAP has 29 MPs, if the party finds that it was mistaken once by voting against our proposal, it could apply to the court without any noise," said Hakobyan adding that this is just a PR and the PAP tries to show behavior of opposition.
To note, on April 4, the members of the joint headquarters aimed to secure election control - PAP, ANC and the ARF - decided to apply to the Constitutional Court demanding to recognize as unconstitutional those provisions of the RA Election Code, which ban the publication of signed lists of voters.
