The joint headquarters set up for the election monitoring released a statement expressing concern over the oxidizing stamps in voters’ passports. The stamps are due to vanish in 12 hours, while they disappear in a few minutes.
The headquarters draw the attention of Armenia’s state bodies and international organizations on the wide-scale violations what they claim have been planned beforehand.
‘The fact that crowds were brought to the polling stations from early in the morning prove the planned scenario. Cases of violence against proxies have been registered,’ the statement says.
The joint headquarters consists of Prosperous Armenia party, Armenian National Congress and Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun. The three forces stress that the created situation endangers the legitimacy of the elections.
‘We call on the voters to actively participate in the polls to reduce the volume of possible frauds,’ the statement runs.
