The United Inter-party Headquarters for Public Control over the Elections expresses deep concern over the massive electoral violations and overt election fraud.
The headquarters has issued a statement presenting several pages of violations.
"The following is only a small portion of the electoral violations that give a general picture of the electoral process," as stated in the statement.
"At 15:30 at polling station N 2/33 in Nor Nork district, police made an attempt to take the head of the mentioned polling station's commission to the police division without any reasoning. The police didn't wish to inform the lawyer that came to the polling station about the reasons for taking the head of the commission to the police division.
Head of precinct N 10/01 in Nork district H. Hakobyan and A. Yeghikyan from polling station N 10 didn't let the elderly voters cast their votes, prohibited their family members and close ones from escorting them, saying that the elderly had to be escorted by the person that head of precinct N 10/01 H. Hakobyan indicated.
The representative of the United Inter-party Headquarters for Public Control over the Elections tried to clarify the situation on the spot.
Representatives of polling station N 27/3 in Zovuni reports that the same person escorts 6-7people to the voting booth, while military police officer Romik Mkrtumyan and head of Zovuni village and several other people pressure voters near and inside the polling stations, telling them which party to vote for. They find out who they voted for and violate the confidentiality of the vote, but the head of the electoral commission doesn't try to prohibit them. Lawyers are working on the spot to fix the situation."
