Police attacker arrested: criminal case is launched.

A criminal case has been instigated in relation to the assault against a police officer at polling stations 11/27 and 11/28 stationed in School N 110 in Yerevan. The police officer's lip was torn.

Police took measures and found that citizen Artur Ghazaryan had violated social order near the polling station in a drunken state and had applied force against police officers Shaliko Gomtsyan and Levon Iskandaryan, who were trying to call him to order.

The criminal case has been instigated under the elements of Article 316 (1) of the RA Criminal Code (applying force that is not dangerous to the life or health of an authority in relation to the fulfillment of his duties).

The Prosecutor General's Office reports that A. Ghazaryan has been apprehended.
