The motto is the only thing that remained from the Republican Party of Armenia, leader of the New Times party Aram Karapetyan told at a news conference today.
‘If you ask people what they remember from Serzh Sargsyan’s speeches they will only repeat the RPA’s motto,’ Karapetyan noted, saying there was no ideological struggle, but a fight for the power.
Aram Karapetyan said the outcome of elections was easy to predict. ‘Today no one discusses whether the elections were falsified or not, instead the ways of falsification are being discussed,’ he said.
‘It does not have any significance. The painful thing is that we failed to have real political picture,’ Karapetyan said, adding that division of power is under way in Armenia.
In his words, it appears that more the authorities are pressing the people, more votes people give them.
Aram Karapetyan also stressed that the country’s socio-economic course is not clear yet.
