The Free Democrats [the party participated in the recent parliamentary elections with Heritage party] released a congratulatory message on the May 9 holiday, the Victory Day.

The party congratulated the compatriots on the Victory Day stressing it is of great significance, as it marks both the Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh] and the World War II victories and has a glorious symbolism for the party.

Free Democrats believe that Armenia and Karabakh are determined to protect peace and make steps towards development and democratization.

On May 9 Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic celebrate the Victory Day in the World War II (Great Patriotic War) as well as the Liberation of Shushi and the anniversary of Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army.
