Aram Sargsyan, Leader of the "Republic" (Hanrapetutyun) Party and member of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) has put down his mandate.
Sargsyan will not take a seat in the Armenian National Assembly.
"My affiliation with the opposition alliance will be discussed in the near future. On Monday the party will make a statement on the issue. We may quit the alliance as we are at variance," said the leader of the Republic party.
Aram Sargsyan wished HAK success in its parliamentary mission.
