"I can confirm the news that I presented withdrawal application," PAP spokesman Khachik Galstyan said during the talk with LURER.com confirming the news spread in media that PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan ordered some members of the party's proportional list to apply to CEC and to renounce their mandates as MPs. Among these members were also Khachik Galstyan and Minister of Health Harutyun Kushkyan.
PAP spokesman denied the news that he rejected his mandate by the order of Gagik Tsarukyan.
"No, this is not by Mr. Tsarukyan's order, each of us made his voluntary decision. This issue was discussed with Mr. Tsarukyan and we decided that I am not going to parliament," mentioned Galstyan adding that there was no reason of doing this, "We found it appropriate to do so," said the spokesman.
Galstyan also confirmed that Minister of Health Harutyun Kushkyan also submitted his withdrawal application.
