Sardarapat Movement activist Artavazd Vardanyan, who had declared hunger strike in front of the CEC building since May 3, today stopped his protest against May 6 parliamentary election results. He stated about this during a meeting with a group of activists today.
As LURER.com correspondent reported, Vardanyan joined the activists participating in an event in Mashtots Park.
To note, Vardanyan declared a hunger strike outside the Central Election Commission on May 3. Considering elections an ineffective tool for achieving any changes in the country, he was calling upon the society and intellectual circles to think of alternative ways of creating a new regime.
