Recently "Hayatsk" daily wrote that there have been changes in leading staff of Regnum Russian news agency. Regnum chief editor Modest Kolerov resigned. Instead of him Vigen Hakobyan was appointed in that post.
According to Kolerov's words, his resignation is connected with changes in ownership and management structure. In the coming days he will be appointed as director of "Regnum publishing house".
According to LURER.com information, Regnum's new owner is RA second president Robert Kocharyan. And just this is the main reason that the owner of the news agency wanted to stay unknown. “Hayatsk” daily also reported about this. However, it is also mentioned that due to the terms of the transaction, Regnum's editorial staff and policy will not change.
