72 people are still in hospitals of capital Yerevan as of today after May 4 incident at the Republican square, RA Health Ministry media spokeswoman Shushan Hunanyan informed about this during the talk with LURER.com.
Due to her words, none of the lives of the injured is in danger.
To note, a tragedy occurred during the Republican Party of Armenia’s rally held at the Republic Square on May 4. Hundreds of balloons filled with helium gas exploded and started to burn. Subsequently, these balloons’ melted rubber fell on the rally participants. And those near the stage were affected the most. About 154 people were injured.
