"As Aram Sargsyan is also my friend, I'll avoid giving any assessments, but I will say something: here I would agree with Levon Ter-Petrosyan, as if the way is already clear, the man knows his way and this is right way, let God help him, but, I repeat once more, in case if this is right way," New Times party leader Aram Karapetyan stated about this during the talk with LURER.com, referring the possible withdrawal of Republic party leader Aram Sargsyan from the ANC.
According to Karapetyan, Aram Sargsyan's step is understandable, the only thing that is not clear for the latter is the issue of mandate.
"If it was clear from the beginning that Sargsyan won't accept the mandate, why he took this place? What was the meaning?," Karapetyan expressed his uncertainty adding that Sargsyan's visit to Brussels was also not clear for him.
And in response to the question whether News Times party leader was ready to share the street with Aram Sargsyan, where he expressed his eagerness to struggle with other political forces, the latter said that it was not yet clear for him whether Sargsyan will come to street or not.
"To tell the truth, I don't see yet that Aram Sargsyan is ready and that his political program is to struggle in the street," mentioned Karapetyan. He is convinced that the existence of such a program would immediately be obvious in Aram Sargsyan's statement.
What refers to "sharing the street", Karapetyan joked," As we are already in the street, anyone's joining us is already a good thing."
