Armenian president participates in CSTO Security Council’s meeting.

The Collective Security Council, Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), held a meeting in Moscow, Russia.
The leaders of all the CSTO member-states are participating in the meeting: President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Alzambek Atambayev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon, and President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.
International situation, further joint steps to meet global challenges and threats to security of the CSTO member-states are on the meeting agenda.
The meeting discussed the main results of the CSTO’s 10-year activities.
The meeting is to approve a declaration on the major trends in the international situation and re-affirm the CSTO member-states’ commitment to cooperation in meeting transnational challenges and threats to security and stability.
