A coalition is not an end in itself for us - Naira Zohrabyan`s statement.

Naira Zohrabyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), made a statement on the formation of Armenia’s ruling coalition.

“The PAP’s possible involvement in the coalition government is one of the most frequently discussed topics. To inform all political analysts and political figures, I re-affirm that a coalition is not an end in itself for us,” Zohrabyan said.

“More or fewer ministerial portfolios – it does not matter for the PAP. We have a larger-scale task: forming a government that will pre-empt challenges that may face the country, improve the social situation and reform the business environment in the country.

“Finally, the parliamentary election results show that the Prosperous Armenia Party enjoys the confidence of large sections of Armenia’s society – about 500,000 of our nationals, which is the greatest value for us. We will never do anything that would shatter popular confidence.”
