Armenia’s President receives Japan’s ambassador.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday received Japanese Ambassador Takehito Harada.
In the lead-up to Sargsyan’s upcoming visit to Japan, the interlocutors discussed Armenian-Japanese relations and the avenues for developing bilateral cooperation, the President’s Press Office informed.
The President stressed that Armenia attaches great importance to developing relations with Japan.
Also, they expressed confidence that President Serzh Sargsyan’s scheduled visit to Japan especially this year—which marks 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Armenia and Japan—will give new impetus to relations between the two friendly countries.
