The Republic (Hanrapetutyun) Party has decided to quit the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC).
The party took the decision during today's sitting of the Political Council. According to our information, party members Smbat Ayvazyan and Suren Abrahamyan approved of the decision though earlier they spoke against the withdrawal.
To note, several days ago Republic party leader Aram Sargsyan declared about pulling down his MP mandate and did not exclude the possibility of withdrawing from the ANC.
Aram Sargsyan ranked the 3rd place in ANC proportional list.
