Liberal Party of Armenia also secedes from the ANC.

The Liberal Party of Armenia (LPA) released a statement on its secession from the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC).
In its statement the party points out the ANC’s important role in Armenia’s socio-political life.
However, later the ANC became passive and its actions became unclear. Being aware of our responsibility for the post-election situation in Armenia, the party considers it untimely to speak of the shortcomings.
During the pre- and post-election periods, after meetings and discussions with active LPA members, the LPA Political Council made a decision on the party’s withdrawal from the ANC.
The LPA members that wish to continue cooperating with the ANC are free to leave the LPA. At its congress scheduled for this autumn, the LPA will make decisions on its action plans.
The main reason for the LPA’s decision is the fact that the ANC agreed to send seven of its members to Armenia’s parliament.
The LPA believes the ANC should not send its members to parliament. Since 2008, seven MPs of the ANC have not been in conformity with the purposes of national movement. The LPA will continue its efforts to implement its programs in cooperation with all the forces aiming at democratic reforms, formation of civil society, improvement of the moral and psychological atmosphere in the country, and so on.
“The Liberal Party of Armenia is grateful to all its partners for cooperation and wishes them success,” says the statement.
